Oh University Housing

Back Story: Our garage door is manual. So we have to get out of the car, get the key out and unlock the bolt, open the door, get back in the car and drive in.

We have been having some issues with our garage door recently and last night was the last straw....

So, Rich was opening the door and all of a sudden... BOOM and a rush of water started gushing from the ceiling.  When the garage door opened it hit the fire sprinkler and broke the head of it off which caused probably a ton of nasty water to come pouring out.

Oh man!

Since the sprinkler was going off, it put the entire building in alarm and we had to wait for the fire department to come and shut off the water before the alarm would stop.

We sure got everyone outside....ha! Oops!

And the best part?? We use our garage for storage and we share the garage space with our neighbors! Fortunately nothing was ruined and now we have the wait for the building to fix the door so we can park the car in the garage again....

We'll see how long this will take!

oh sheesh!! Luckily nothing was ruined. Our water heater has been leaking and ruined tons of stuff that was stored next to it =[

Yikes! Luckily nothing was ruined. And you're also super lucky that the others in the house didn't go off too! Most of the time those things are all synched up so it could've also caused a really soggy couch, bed, carpet, etc. situation! Glad there was no damage! :)

Isn't that lovely?! You two seem good natured about it though, so thank God for that!
