Our honeymoon was, overall, a huge adventure!
We were in a country where we did not speak the language and then we were in a country that we felt was difficult to maneuver.
We really learned the train system in Switzerland and it is really easy to use!
If we were to backpack through the Alps again, I would have made more plans for accommodations and I would have liked to have spent more time in the smaller towns so we could leave our things there and hike around and train back in we had to.
The Parisians were very nice to us because Rich spoke French to us and we did our best to stay under the radar :-)
We still laugh that Paris is supposed to be the city of love, the most romantic city. The entire time we were there is was hot hot hot, we didn't even hold hands until the evening of the last night!
We ate a lot of carbs and not a lot of veggies!
We are glad that we did the big city of Paris so when we go back we can do the country side and the southern part!
We had the best time and cannot wait to go back!
