FRIEND and I love love love Giada, so we thought it only appropriate to prepare a feast last weekend for lunch only seeking out the Giada cookbooks!
(the internet wasn't working, so that morning, we read the newspaper, researched a faraway place in an Encyclopedia, and found all of the recipes from multiple cookbooks--it was very humbling not to use technology, and also very peaceful!)
So we decided to make ourselves a salad, and entree and a dessert. Here is what we picked...
Salad: Cantaloupe, arugula, red onions, toasted walnuts
Dressing: lemon, olive oil, pomegranate oil, salt & pepper
