We woke up early to see that it was raining...the day of our big hike and it was raining...great.

We got our packs packed and got dressed and headed on our merry way.

It was taking a long time and we were feeling tired and drained and we finally heard the cow bells and actually felt relief! It was pretty crazy!

We hiked up and over a mountain pass about 5 miles and then straight down for about 6 miles...with our packs on! It was an exhausting day! We saw some amazing views and some interesting bugs and animals.

What a gorgeous area! I can't believe you hiked all that. I bet the views were totally worth it.
