Can-Do Challenge- Knix the word "like"

Who else uses the word "like" way more than they should?!

I am digressing {this week} from the Stress Free For Good book because I have noticed that I have been using the word "like" frivolously...

I don't think that I can go a conversation without saying it...

"she was like..." I was like..." "and then like..."

like like like like

I know that I say it so much because my brain thinks faster than my lips...or my lips talk faster than my brain thinks..who knows!

What I do know is that I say it more than I would like to {ha! not that kind of like}

So here is the challenge:

Cut down the amount of "Likes" you use. I know that it is hard. Remember to speak slower and think before you speak.

I know that it is hard, so lets work on this together!

Girl, I do the same thing! My brain so goes faster than my mouth so I just talk and it just comes out. I'm always trying to work on it.

This is going to be hard but I'm gonna try it with you!! I always notice I'm saying "like" a lot when I'm telling a story....so maybe I should tell less stories!! Haha!!

It’s hard. I remember trying to do this after college so that I wouldn't sound so young and inexperienced at my new job. It's hard, but can be done. I hardly say it at all anymore, not even with my friends. Good luck!

Hello!

Just wanted to stop by and say hello since you introduced yourself over at my blog :).

I don't know if I can do this challenge. I've tried before, but I say "like' so much...I don't know if it's possible, but I'll definitely give it a try!

Hope you had a lovely weekend!

Oh yes, I am an habitual abuser of the word "like". I think at one point I tried to quit being that girl...but my trying lasted maybe a few days before I just gave up. I don't know where the valley girl in me came from, but I do know that it's probably here to stay.
