The Passage- The Gospel

Sweeter and I will have Padre Juan read the verse Gospel during our wedding ceremony.

We have decided that we thought that Mark 10:6-9 would be the best verse for our ceremony.

A reading from the holy Gospel according to Mark

Jesus said:

“From the beginning of creation,

                God made them male and female.

For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother

                And be joined to his wife,

                And the two shall become one flesh.

So they are no longer two but one flesh.

Therefore what God has joined together,

                No human being must separate.”

We felt that a lot of the Gospel's were a little over the top in regards to women being below men etc.

We felt that this was the best quote and was the most equal :-)

We are in May now...our Wedding Month!
