Other than for Sweeter, I am done with my Holiday shopping!
On Saturday, I helped a High School friend throw a surprise party for her parents 30th wedding anniversary!
My friend made everything! All of the food was homemade and she even had a live band there!
It was an awesome party!
We all had a blast!
This older man {maybe in his late 60s/early 70s} approached me at the party, after eyeing me for a while, and he said to me as he took my hand: "Good thing I have a good 50 years on you.." and then winked at me! We both laughed and the he looked at me again and said: "Do me one favor...Live your life to the fullest... Just live your life to the fullest! And then call me in 50 years."
It was a very sweet moment that I had with him!

caleb is deployed for the holidays, and i am pretty broke. so i'm goingt o send him a care package from hawaii where i'll be vacationing! it will get to him late, but he said he doesn't mind and that he can't wait for macadamia nuts!(is that how you spell them?). i sent him one from hawaii last year, so this year im going to being some stuff with me to include in the package from canada... stuff to keep him warm. it will be a lot cheaper shipping it from hawaii!

my husband will mention things that he wants and I make sure to take note of them. three years running and he's never guessed what I'm getting him for Christmas and he has loved every single present :)

And I'm kind of at a lost for what to get my guy as well. I know he wants a new satchel (though that isn't what he calls it...hahaha). And a few concert tickets. I was going to get him football tickets, but he prefer to stay at home and watch the game, such a shame. Oh, but I'm totally getting him a jersey of one of his favorite players!
